Last weekend I was in Nijmwegen, Netherlands, a wonderful medieval small town near the German border. They had a summer festival and JWs were crawling the place. In one street I counted 6 (SIX!) carts mostly with dutch literature, but there was one cart with german and english literature.Door 2 Door
I have been living here in this street (in Düsseldorf, Germany) for more than twenty years now, and I've never been bothered by the Borg. But that's due to my being df'd for more than 40 years, and them knowing my address.

Homesick to a place you heaven't even been to yet?
hey guys, so now that i’m pretty much atheist and i’m not scared of demons or supernatural things, or bring them into my house by watching movies or reading books about them lol, i defenitly want to watch a few scary movies.
i’ve always loved scary movies, but as witness, you don’t get to watch many since they need to be pg-13 and have no spiritism in it lol.
does anyone have any suggestions?

I like the nonchalance of Constantine (2005), by Francis Lawrence with Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Djimon Hounsou, Tilda Swinton …, where evil is coming towards the City of Angels and our demon hunter averts the imminent hostile take-over of the world by the hosts of hell.
I don't think this film will give anyone a nightmare, except, maybe, the most devout believer. But, maybe I simply do not relate to the conjunction of the two concepts of ′horror′ and ′supernatural′.
So, here's a horror film which dispenses altogether with this supernatural shenanigans:

one thing i don't miss about being a jobo, is those families that ruled the congregations.. i've seen how the elders protected their own using our old friend, nepotism.. eg.
the son of an elder that stole a car and was prosecuted but 'let off' because it was kept secret and all his relatives were elders in the same congregation.
it certainly went on when i was an elder but i wasn't one of the 'in' crowd.
